Northern lights over Norwegian mountains above a cold chain freight route
Made in Norway

Most cold chain hardware is a white label from a catalogue. Ours is not.

Walk any logistics trade show and you will find the same box under a dozen different logos. We took the harder route: our own electronics, our own firmware, our own software, engineered and built in Norway for the coldest, roughest work there is.

Official Made in Norway certification mark
The official origin label

Norwegian is not a marketing word. It is a standard.

"Made in Norway" is a registered trademark administered by Innovation Norway, the country's official trade promotion organisation. It designates products and services that are authentically Norwegian, and it is only granted to companies that meet strict criteria for origin, responsibility and sustainability.

That matters in our industry. When a tracker guards vaccines, blood products or a full reefer of food, "designed in Europe, assembled somewhere" is not an answer.

Why the label exists

Quality, nature and responsible business

Norway is known for its natural beauty, for its commitment to responsible business practice and sustainability, and for high quality. The Made in Norway label was established to capitalise on these positive associations and enhance the competitiveness of Norwegian products and services on the international market.

For a cold-chain tracker, that matters twice over. Where a device is built decides who controls its supply chain, its data and its firmware. Emma is designed, engineered and assembled in Norway, inside the EEA, under European data rules.

Our Emma solution qualifies

The label sets a different origin threshold per category. Our Emma Smart Tracker is a hockey-puck shaped cold chain monitor, a manufactured good, while Emma Cloud is our software solution. Both are made here.
