    Surfact wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born in Afghanistan. While serving in the Norwegian Armed Forces, co-founder Per Magne Helseth, watched medicine, food and equipment spoil in the heat.

    People depended on cargo nobody could actually see. That's why we build hardware that keeps working, data you can trust, and people who pick up when it matters.

    How we work

    We build the company together, then go skiing.

    We hire generalists with depth, give them real ownership, and trust them to make decisions. The work is serious, with pharma, food, lives and livelihoods at stake, but the way we do it is grounded, honest and unmistakably Norwegian.

    We'd rather be outside, and it shows in the work.

    We're Norwegian, and the mountains are a short drive from the desk. We take that seriously: a team that gets out thinks clearer and argues better. The coastline many of us grew up on is the same one our sensors help protect. That's not a tagline, it's why this particular team cares about this particular problem.
